President of the Constitutional Court Mr. Zühtü Arslan was awarded a state medal “25th Anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, for his outstanding contributions to the constitutional values, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
During his official visit to the capital city Nur-Sultan, President Arslan and Chairman of the Constitutional Council Mr. Kairat Mami held a tête-à-tête meeting. Then, a joint meeting was held with the participation of the delegations of both countries.
Expressing his pleasure for paying a visit to his fatherland Kazakhstan, President Arslan noted “It is indeed a delayed visit. We wished to pay a visit last year but had to adjourn it due to the ongoing pandemic. I hope this visit will make significant contributions to the relations both between these two countries and these two institutions”.
Chairman Mami, expressing his satisfaction with the efficient and productive meeting with the Turkish delegation led by President Arslan, stated “This meeting symbolises the cooperation based on mutual fellowship between the constitutional institutions of these two countries.”.
In the ceremony held at the end of the meeting, Chairman Mami bestowed the state medal “25th Anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan” to President Arslan.
During this visit, President Arslan is accompanied by Vice-President Mr. Kadir Özkaya, Justice Mr. İrfan Fidan and Private Secretary to the President Mr. Orhan Yalınız.
President Arslan and the accompanying delegation will attend various activities also in the cities of Almaty and Turkistan.
