President of the Constitutional Court Mr. Zühtü Arslan and the accompanying delegation paid an official visit to Strasbourg on 9-11 September 2021 on the occasion of the official opening of the judicial year of the ECHR.

During the visit, President Mr. Arslan was accompanied by Justice Mr. Basri Bağcı and Chief Rapporteur-Judge Mr. Aydın Şimşek.

On the first day of the visit (9 September), the Constitutional Court delegation met with the jurists from the European Court of Human Rights, as well as with the ECHR Judge Ms. Saadet Yüksel. On the second day (10 September), the delegation had a meeting with President of the ECHR Mr. Róbert Spanó and attended the opening ceremony of the judicial year of the ECHR.
