The delegation of the Turkish Constitutional Court presided by President of the Constitutional Court Mr. Zühtü Arslan paid a visit to the Republic of South Africa.

Visiting this country between 13 and 15 June 2019 upon the kind invitation of Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court of South Africa Mr. Mogoeng Mogoeng, President Mr. Arslan was also accompanied by President of the Court of Jurisdictional Disputes Mr. Hicabi Dursun.

During the negotiations held between the authorities from the constitutional courts of both countries, the parties reached a mutual agreement to enhance the relations between the Constitutional Courts of Turkey and South Africa.

Stressing the need for these two Constitutional Courts to exchange experience and information, the parties also agreed to take the necessary steps to initiate cooperation on the identified issues.
