The President of Constitutional Council of Algeria Mr. Mourad MEDELCI and Director in charge of Studies and Research Department Mr. Hocine BENGRINE paid an official visit to our Court on 25–27 February 2015.

The delegation, having participated in the dinner hosted by Vice President Mr. Alparslan ALTAN on 25th February, was received by President Prof. Dr. Zühtü ARSLAN the following day. The structures, duties, powers and functions of the Constitutional Courts of the two countries were addressed in detail and an exchange of knowledge and views took place during the meeting held in the Court building. Afterwards, Memorandum of Understanding on Bilateral Cooperation, the final version of which was formed within the framework of previous meetings between our Court and Constitutional Council of Algeria, was signed. The official visit ended after the luncheon hosted by President Prof. Dr. Zühtü ARSLAN in honour of the delegation. During the social programme in the afternoon, the delegation visited Kocatepe Mosque, Anıtkabir Museum and Ankara Castle within the scope of Ankara tour. The delegation participating in the dinner hosted by President Prof. Dr. Zühtü ARSLAN in their honour on the same day departed from our country on 27 February 2015.
