The President Mr. Zühtü ARSLAN and the accompanying delegation comprised of the Vice-Presidents, Judges and Rapporteur Judges of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey visited the Mausoleum on the occasion of the 55th Anniversary of the Constitutional Court. After having stood in silence before the spiritual presence of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the delegation entered Misak-ı Milli (National Pact) Museum. The President Mr. ARSLAN signed the Memorial Book in this Museum and subsequently the delegation left the Mausoleum.

The message that Mr. ARSLAN wrote in the Memorial Book is as follows:

“Great Atatürk,

We are before you together with our Judges and Rapporteur Judges on the occasion of the 55th Anniversary of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey.

The Constitutional Court continues to carry out the tasks entrusted to it by the Constitution in the Republic of Turkey which you founded and consigned to us. We would like to express once again that we, as the Constitutional Court, are determined to reach beyond the level of contemporary civilization that you indicated, by protecting the constitutional rights and freedoms.

May you rest in peace. 24.04.2017”
